America Supports You
Checkers/Rally’s is proud to be a corporate team member of America Supports You, an ongoing nationwide Department of Defense program that showcases and communicates America's support to the men and women of the Armed Forces.
We began working with America Supports You in 2005, when Checkers/Rally’s had the great honor of of feeding and entertaining our men and women of the military who were recovering at Walter Reed Medical Center.
In 2006, Checkers/Rally’s worked with America Supports You to partner with Operation Gratitude for the Patriotic Drive. Through the Patriotic Drive, Checkers/Rally's was able to help send more than 40,000 care packages to U.S. Troops deployed overseas. We have also auctioned off sports memorabilia on eBay to raise more than $10,000 for Operation Gratitude, and donated an additional $10,000 to the organization at the 2006 Richmond 400®.
With America Supports You, Checkers/Rally’s has also had the opportunity to show our support for our troops at the 2006 Memorial Day parade in Washington D.C., and we have raised awareness of their organization by featuring the America Supports You logo on our cups, to-go bags and other materials at our restaurants nationwide.
